Job satisfaction OR Job security - What is more important ???

Some people think that job satisfaction is more important than job security. Other think that people cannot expect to enjoy a job and having a permanent job is more important.

Nowadays increased individualism and its practices are prevailing all over the world. The world stands polarized into two contrasting perspectives where one group of  mankind believes that job gratification is very essential than a stable job, while another group believes that a stable job is more essential than a satisfied job. However, exemplified explanation of both the views are presented in upcoming paragraphs.

A group of mankind which advocates that a gratified job is much more competitive than another group which holds an opinion of a stable job invests much time in learning and continuously upgrading his skills and talent as per the corporate requirements. Also, such people has good amount of self confidence and hence they out performs in their tasks.

For instance, Roman Saini - a Founder of Unacademy was an IAS Officer left a highest rank government service to become a successful Entrepreneur. Such group of people enjoy being on their job which leads to a stable mental health. Hence, it helps in maintaining a good emotional balance in their life.

Another group of people that advocates for a stable job than the satisfied one is much inclined towards maintaining a more disciplined lifestyle. This group of people believes that having a distinct balance between a personal and a professional life is a very important factor for a healthy life. They think that a fixed amount of income is much more important for securing future of the family.

For instance, during a pandemic of COVID-19, several companies laid off their employees, whereas those with stable job received their regular compensation. Thus, a fear of financial stability is lessened in a stable job environment. Also, this group enjoys their life by spending quality time with friends and family out of their professional life.

Integrating the above mentioned views of two different groups; one advocating a job satisfaction, whereas another favoring a stable job, it can be recapitulated that people with different minds have different choices based on their beliefs. In my view job satisfaction is much more crucial than a stable job.
